Havdalah Spice Box

This silver spice box is used in the ceremony of Havdalah, which marks the end of Shabbat and Jewish holidays, ushering in the new week. During the Havdalah recitation, participants pass around sweet-smelling spices symbolising the sweetness of Shabbat. The spices are often stored in a decorative container like this one.
