Ink Drawing by Paul Perkal
Paul Perkal made this drawing shortly after his liberation from Dachau Concentration Camp in Germany. Paul, a talented artist, drew scenes from memory based on events he witnessed in the camp. In this image of a prisoner’s flogging, the structure behind the characters is recognisably the Dachau maintenance building.
