This photograph was taken at the corner of Andrassy Ut, an important boulevard in Budapest, and Hitler Ter (“Hitler Square”). The original name of the square was Korond, meaning “Circus.” It was renamed Adolf Hitler Square from 1938 to 1945, so the photograph must date from those years.
