Tallit Katan

The Book of Numbers 15:37-41 details how God commanded the Jews to wear tzizit (fringes) on the corners of their clothes as a reminder of the commandments and the exodus from Egypt. Observant Jewish men will wear a special undergarment called the tallit katan, to which fringes are attached. The small size of this tallit katan indicates that they were made for a very young boy or baby.
